Located at the northeast corner of East University Drive and North College Street, approximately 2 miles north of Auburn University, one of Alabama’s two public flagship universities, the project is anchored by a 45,600 SF Publix and includes 17,500 SF of local retail space and 3 outparcels sold to Circle K, Wendy’s and Auburn University Federal Credit Union.
Thorough research and due diligence brought this opportunity. It was designed at a scale that wasn’t right for the market resulting in a project that couldn’t get off the ground. Redesigning the site plan and joint-venturing with the property owner offered the framework to make this project a reality.
Of course, as with any location Publix chooses, it becomes wildly successful and this one is no different. We wish the absolute best for Publix, the adjoining tenants and residents of Auburn as they enjoy this shopping center.
